Metro – The Muhammadiyah Regional Executive (Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah/PDM) of Metro established Muhammadiyah Business Center (MBC). The soft opening of the business center located in JalanSoekarnoHatta, Metro was launched some days ago on Thursday (02/19/2015).

Muhammadiyah authority of Metro, Triyono, explained that MBC would be a well-established business center for Amaal Usaha Muhammadiyah and other affiliations. It was planned that there would be various types of business such as bakery, mobile phone counter, ATK, and so on.

It was also hoped that MBC would add alternative shopping district for people of Metro and surrounding areas. “The location is strategic right on the roadside and is close to RumahSakitMuhammadiyah (Muhammadiyah Hospital), which is expected to be the supporting factor for the development of MBC,” explained Triyono.

The General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Din Syamsuddin, visited MBC on Saturday (03/7). He was scheduled of giving tausiyah (lecture) in Muhammadiyah University of Metro, as well as officially launched the Graduate Campus of UM Metro.

The Dean of Faculty of Economics of UM Metro, BambangSuhada explained that besides visiting UM Metro, Prof Din Syamsuddin was also scheduled for visiting Muhammadiyah Business Center (MBC). “The preparation has been carried out for the last few days,” said Bambang. (dzar)
