Yogyakarta- Students are a part of a university that  has a role to decide its quality. Their well-being must be considered. Kopertis Wilayah V DIY (Coordinator of Private Higher Institution) helps students having achievement and poor students with scholarship Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik (PPA) or Improving Academic Achievement and Beasiswa Bantuan Belajar Mahasiswa (BBM) or Study Assisstance Scholarship.

Thursday morning (22/9/2011) Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) distributed PPA and BBM scholarship. The distribution took place at campus 1 attended by hundreds of students. The scholarship was given to 554 students: 219 PPA and 335 BBM. "Students coming to the event say that the scholarship is really helpful to pay tuition fee and other needs," said Ichsan when standing in line to get the scholarship.

"The scholarship is very helpful for me and my friends. This will give new spirit. The spirit to learn better. Don't make it useless and without responsibility from the receiver," said Aida, one of the scholarship receivers from the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature.
