Makassar- The chairman of Public Empowerment Council (MPM) of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Drs.H.Said Tuhuleley, together with Department Head of Farming of South Sulawesi (Sulsel), officially opens a cow-sheep showroom of Public Empowerment Council of Central Executive of Muhammadiyah in South Sulawesi Province at Awwalul Islam Square on  Jl Ir Sutami, Makassar, on Friday (23/09/2011).

The event was attended by Muhammadiyah chairman of Sulsel, Drs.KH.Alwi Uddin,M.Ag, and hunderds of invited guests, and cow breeders under MPM guidance across Sulsel. Department Head of Farming in Sulsel,Ir.Murtala Ali, said that MPM Muhammadiyah Sulsel has done a breakthrough in the field of breeding by opening the first cow showroom in Sulsel. It is even able to do the best in Eastern Indonesia, so the problems of cow need in Sulsel can be solved a bit. Through the program, Sulsel government will give strong support, even make it as an appropriate partner for Sulsel.

In the meantime, Said Tuhuleley,  MPM chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, said MPM Muhammadiyah Sulsel is a guarantee for all MPM programs, even becomes a pilot project to develop MPM in all sectors. KH.Alwi Uddin, the Chaiman of Muhammadiyah South Sulawesi, hopes the showroom becomes economic power that is able to support Muhammadiyah's empowerment program, so the independent character of Muhammadiyah becomes more existent.

On the other side, the chairman of MPM Muhammadiyah Sulsel, Husni Yunus, said that this year MPM Sulsel has done cooperation with many parties, be it government or private company that has the same vision on public empowerment program in South Sulawesi province.
