Yogyakarta—the MuhammadiyahCentral Executive of Tarjih and Tajdid (Law and Reformation) Council holdimportant agenda, namely the 29th Law (Tarjih) National Conference on Tuesday to Friday (19-22 May 2015). This event was planned to be implemented in the Building of Yogyakarta College Student Press Council at Jalan Tirtomartani Kalasan Yogyakarta Sleman with the Yogyakarta Ahmad Dahlan University as the executive committee (the host).
The 29th Law National Conference was accompanied by two other activities, namely Pre-Conference Seminar and the National Working Meeting (Meeting of the Central Level) of MuhammadiyahTarjih and Tajdid (Law and Reformation) Council. Pre-Conference Seminar entitled " Muhammadiyah Dynamism of Tajdid and Development of Intellectualism in Open Society", which was held on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 at the Hotel Inna Garuda, sequentially with the Opening Event of the 29th Law (Tarjih) National Conference would be attended by the General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Prof. Dr. H. M. Din Syamsudin, M.A. It invited several speakers, such as Prof. Dr. Anggara Umar Jenie, Prof. Dr. Bambang Setiaji, Hendri Saparini, PhD., Dr. Hamim Ilyas, Dr. Siti Syamsiatun, Pradana Boy ZTF., PhD. and Ahmad Muttaqin, PhD.
The 29th Law(Tarjih) National Conference and the National Working Meeting (Meeting of the Central Level) of MuhammadiyahTarjih and Tajdid (Law and Reformation) Councilscheduled several important matters, namely The Guidance of Shalah, Disaster Fiqh, Organization Revitalization, Program Priorities and Tarjih Ulema Regeneration. The activities held regularly at least two times in one period. It would be attended by the Member of the MuhammadiyahTarjih and Tajdid (Law and Reformation) Councilwhich consisted of Muhammadiyah ulemas and scholars in Indonesia and some observers participants of the Assembly/Institution/Autonomous Organisation in Central level, Muhammadiyah Universities, PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School and special invitations.
