Bantul– At atotal of 20 health workers for early detection of cervical cancer from 'Aisyiyah District Banguntapan, went through the final training in Clinic Bait al-Marwah, Jl. Wonosari, Wijoro, Banguntapan, Bantul, Tuesday (5/5). They followed the regular training since last April to understand what the cervical cancer and its symptoms were and what early detection needed that can be done as early as possible. The cadre training program that was conducted by Stikes (Institute of Health Science) ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta was led by two lecturers, namely Ismarwati and Dwi Ernawati.

"In order to serve the community, Stikes 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta perform Health Cadre Training Program on Early Detection of Cervical Cancer since April 2015 in collaboration with the ‘Asyiyah District Executive Branch North Banguntapan and South Banguntapan Bantul" said Ismarwati.

From the results ofthese studies, one of awareness counseling suggested that in doing early detection of cervical cancer, it was quite effective to perform in the women Islamic gathering (recitation). "In order to maintain the pilgrims awareness, then it is necessary to pick some cadres in each group of pilgrims recitation in target areas. Coachingcadres through this kind of forum was considered effective because it would be able to build a sense of togetherness in motivating the pilgrims that are willing to do business early detection routinely together, "he said.

Ismarwatiadded that of each ‘Aisyiyah District Executive sent 10 cadres. In the cadre training, the 20 persons was given the knowledge of women's reproductive health and the urgency of early detection of cervical cancer regularly as a knowledge to educate the pilgrims in each region by forming Focus Group Discussion.

Another targetwas to develop an expected scope of early detection of cervical cancer and formed 20 Focus Group Discussion (FGD) consists of mothers who each group consisting of 8 to 10 mothers. "From this program, it is expected to have 200 participants who developed into a cadre of community development successor to their families," he said. (dzar)
