Jakarta – Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP Muhammadiyah) and Muhammadiyah Provincial Executive (PW Muhammadiyah) of South Sulawesi visited the Editorial Office of Republika located at South Jakarta. The visit was related to the socialization for Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Muktamar in South Sulawesi on August 3-7, 2015. 

In that occassion, Muhammadiyah Central Executive led by the Chairman, Haedar Nashir, Secretary General Agung Danarto, the General Chairman of ‘Aisyiyah Central Executive Noordjanah Djohantini, the Chairman of Muktamar Standing Committee Zamroni, and other committee members. The group of PP Muhammadiyah was directly welcomed by the Editor-in-chief of Republika, Nasihin Masha, Managing Editor Subroto, Vice Editor-in-chief Maman Sudiaman, and the rest of editoral board. In the meeting, Nasihin Masha stated that Republika was within Muhammadiyah because it would be impossible for Republika to be established without the intervention from the people of Muhammadiyah.

In the opportunity, Haedar Nashir expressed his gratefulness for Republika had been active in spreading information on the activities done by Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah to the public. Haedar expressed that in Muktamar Muhammadiyah in Makassar, they would talk more regarding the issues in the country. “Muhammadiyah has been contributed so much to the country, and we will always be consistent in giving our best for the sake of Indonesia.
