Jakarta – Recently the Draft of Government Regulation (RPP) on the Impact of Tobacco Products Control still have problems due to some reasons. One of them is a concern if this RPP would be detrimental for tobacco farmers, whereas factor of tobacco trading system has much harmed the tobacco farmers.
The opinion was raised in the event of Media Briefing themed RPP Draft Impact of Tobacco Products or Tobacco Trading System Procedures Harming the Farmers? initiated by the Assembly of Public Health (MPKU) Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Indonesia's Institute for Social Development (IISD), and the Institute for Research, Development and Community Services at (LP3M) University of Muhammadiyah Magelang, Jakarta Media Center located at Jl. Kebon Sirih 32-34, Jakarta, Friday (09/23/2011). The discussion was chaired by a member of the Institute of Foreign Relations of PP Muhammadiyah DR. Sudibyo Markus, MBA with source persons from researchers of University of Muhammadiyah Magelang LP3M Agung Nugroho, ST, M.
