Yogyakarta-Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) distributed 100 clean water tanks to the community Gunung Kidul on Monday (10/10/201), at the Office of Local Government (Government) Gunungkidul, the distribution was conducted symbolically by HM Muchlas Abror as Chairman of the Governing Body (BPH) of UAD.
Long droughtscausing dryness in Gunung kidul awaken UAD to share to others in need. "In order to commemorate the 51st anniversary, UAD is trying to share the happiness and establish brotherhood to the Muslim," said Muchlas Abror after the distribution of clean water symbolically given to the regional government officials of Gunungkidul.
The distribution of clean water was attended by HM Muchlas Abror, Prof. Dr. H. Sarbiran, M.Ed., Ph.D., as Head of Research and Development Institute of UAD, Drs. Muchlas M.T, as Vice Rector III UAD, Drs. Immawan Wahyudi, MH, as Vice Regent of Gunung kidul, H Sukamto S.Ag., as Chairman of the Regional executive of Muhammadiyah (PDM) Gunungkidul.
"The clean water from the UAD donation will be distributed to all districts in Gunung kidul, without exception, such as sub Tepus, Gedangsari, Rongkop and several other districts in need," said Immawan as representative of the South Mountain District in his speech.
Muchlas Abror added that through the distribution he expected, what UAD had done could ease the burden that hit our brothers and sisters in need ".
