Makassar- Muhammadiyah's Public Empowerment (MPM) of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) cooperates with the Ministry of Maritime and Fishery of the Republic of Indonesia to train how to incrase product capacity of fish pond farmers in Takalar Regency on Oct 15, 2012 at the building of Pusat Dakwah Muhammadiyah on Jl.Perintis kemerdekaan no. 38 Makassar. That was informed by the chairman of MPM Muhammadiyah Sulsel, Husni Yunus on Wednesday ( 12/10/2011)

 

Husni Yunus says the event aims to increase the farmers' product quality in terms of breeding, management, and marketing. The farmers are under MPM Muhammadiyah's guidance.

 

Nasrullah Rahim, the Secretary of MPM Muhammadiyah Sulsel, says the event will be attended by a team from the Misnistry of Maritime and Fishery that will give direct donation in the from of equipment. Besides, they will teach basic materials of farmer support group, basic entrepreneur, fish pond breeding, and action plan making. The team members are Ir.Fadli (the ministry consultant), Idham Khalid,SE,MM (Department Head of the Ministry of Maritime and Fishery of Takalar Regency), Drs.HM.Husni Yunus,M.Pd, and Ir.HM.Syaiful saleh,M.Si.
