Yogyakarta - Sunday (9/10/2011), the International class Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) in Yogyakarta conducted cultural visits to several places in Kidul Mountain. The event was attended by 63 visiting foreign students. Each of them is from the Faculty of Economics (from China) and Darmasiswa class (derived from China, Poland, Japan, and Korea).
The first visitwas to the official residences of the Vice Regent of Kidul Mountain. The visit supervised by six teachers and six companions was received by a show featuring art by Reog Gunungkidul art workers.
Casia, Darmasiswa students from Poland expressed that she was very amazed by the action they did. It's remarkable. They are people who have a sense of high art, she said when interviewed.
After lunch, the group went on a trip to some beaches such as Beach Spring, Beach Krakal, and Kukup Beach. There, the students were invited to know the nature of Yogyakarta (Indonesia generally). In addition to refreshing, they were introduced with the lives of coastal communities and some typical food available there.
"The atmosphere is incredible. There is lot of people. The exhausted feeling is missing due to the beautiful beach visit. I promise I will come back to this beach," said students from Korea whose Indonesian’s name is Dian.
