Ternate- “IPM, I am proud of you.”  That was stated by the chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Dahlan Rais, when giving a speech in the opening of Regional Executive Conference (Kopiwil) of Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) that lasted at Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku on Thursday (27/10/2011).

Dahlan Rais who is an alumnus of IPM expresses his praise for IPM that still exists and keeps its consistency in its struggle with Muhammadiyah to uphold 'amar ma'ruf nahi munkar' (doing good deeds and abandoning bad ones). That makes IPM the best student organization in Indonesia. "I really appreciate with what has been done by IPM so far until it becomes the best youth organization in Indonesia and one of the best organizations in ASEAN," said he.

Dahlan, Amien Rais' younger brother, also reminds the future challenge for IPM. According to him, in facing the crown of modern age, the organization must have a high level of creativity, so the organization is not left slowly. The theme of Kopiwil is creativity.

Besides Dahlan Rais, the opening was also attended by the Rector of Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku, Ternate Regent, a Staff of Forestry Minister, Muhammadiyah university students, and IPM representatives around Indonesia.
