"People think Islam for their own private affairs, but should strive to improve people's lives especially to the poor, orphans, and others" he added.

 

In the same occasionqurban committee said that this year's Eid al-Adha University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta slaughtered eighty-three oxen and twenty-five goats. Qurban animal would be distributed to deserved people around UMY.
 

Mardisaid that impression and impact expected from this great event are in the soul of each and the reflections for the public to be aware and become fully social beings. "Hopefully all Muslims aware and feel obliged to cultivate a spirit of democracy, eliminate differences due to gap of the economy" he hoped.
