When we hear the call to prayer, we like to imitate the spoken muezzin. To azan Maghrib, Isha ', the Noon and Afternoon, we already understand imitate, which we have not understood the muezzin call to prayer echoes Dawn, that is when the muezzin said: "Asholatu khairum Minan Naum", how should we imitate? because of our diverse congregation in imitate.

Answer:

There are two traditions relating to issues in which you ask, is the first hadith of Ibn Said Jama al-Khudriyi as follows:

It means: "Behold, the Prophet said: If you hear the call to prayer, then say it like that spoken muezzin."

Second, the hadith narrated by Muslim from Abu Daud of Umar bin Khatab who said that the Messenger of Allah said:

It means: "When the muezzin saying Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, then let any one of you say Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, then muezzin say ASYHADU an-la ilaha illallah, say ASYHADU an-la ilaha illallah, when the muezzin say anna Muhammadan Rasulullah ASYHADU , then pronounce anna Muhammadan Rasulullah ASYHADU, when the muezzin saying Hayya alash shalah, then pronounce la haula wala quwwata illa billahi, then when the muezzin saying Hayya alal falah, then pronounce la haula wala quwwata illa billahi, then when the muezzin saying Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar , then pronounce Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, then muezzin saying la ilaha illallah, la ilaha illallah then say it, all of which arise from the sincere heart, then he will enter Paradise. "

The first hadith that explains in general that people have to mimic what was recited by the muezzin. The second Hadith describes specifically, when the muezzin recites "Hayya Hayya alal alash shalah and falah, mustami" (listeners) have to say "He haula billahi wala quwwata illa." In the dawn when the muezzin recites Azan "ash-shalatu khairum Minan Naum", because there is no specific guidance as "Hayya alash shalah", then we are guided to the first hadith, which mimicked what the spoken muezzin. Clearly we also say "ash-shalatu khairum Minan Naum".
